We all want revival in our churches and our cities, but I was reminded quickly by a 7 year old that was in a prayer group for children's ministry, that we have a lot to learn. When it was my turn (the only adult in the group) to pray the young boy first asked if I was gonna pray a long prayer. Ouch! I said, "Well, let's see" and I prayed for all of fifteen seconds but more sincerity than longer prayers I have prayed.
So I am praying for revival, but I am praying that it starts in me. I may not pray long prayers, but I pray for intimacy in my relationship with God. Help me Lord. Start here.
